How to play Sequence
The board shows every card from two decks (except Jacks) laid out twice each. The four corners are free spaces that count for everyone.
Your turn
- Play one card from your hand and place a chip on a matching space on the board.
- Draw back up to a full hand from the draw pile.
- If a card in your hand is dead (both its spaces are already covered), discard it instead of playing, and draw a replacement.
Jacks are special
- 2-eyed jacks (♦ ♣) are wild — place a chip on any open space.
- 1-eyed jacks (♥ ♠) remove one opponent chip — but not from a completed sequence.
Winning
Line up five chips in a row. A free corner counts for anyone. With two colors in play you need 2 sequences; with three colors, just 1.
Teams
4 players = two teams (blue & red). 6 players = three teams (blue, red & green). Teammates alternate seats and share a color.
